The cover has Aleister Crowley's date of birth shown incorrectly as 18 October 1895.  His correct date of birth is 12 October.

The frontispiece and the woodcut designs on the front and rear covers were executed by Lady Frieda Harris.1

Variants of this edition, said to be proof or advance copies, are found bound in light blue wrappers.2
